Description
Have a sporty visit to the Julian Alps by joining our SUP Bohinj tour and experience the striking beauty of the Triglav National Park in a unique manner.
Lake Bohinj is the largest permanent lake of natural origin in Slovenia. Only a stone’s throw away from Bled, it covers the floor of a valley tucked away in a vibrant corner of the Julian Alps.
There is no better place to run off to from the tumult of Lake Bled’s shoreside. Bohinj preserved its authentic Alpine culture and did not succumb to the tourist craze of the last decades, and our SUP tour touches on this very aspect.
You will be able to fully immerse yourself in the calm mountain ambiance with a great full-body exercise amid the high peaks.
Our ASI-certified guide will ensure you are comfortable on your paddleboard before organizing some fun SUP games that will further bond your group.
Additionally, he will be able to tell you about the area of Bohinj while you’re stand-up paddleboarding around the crystal-clear lake. You will learn all about the history of the green pastures, villages, and wooded slopes beneath Mount Triglav.
Join us on our SUP Bohinj tour. A paddle and a board are already waiting for you to take them for a spin around the lake!

Things to know
After meeting you, the SUP instructor will store your belongings that you don’t want on the tour in our van parked in a safe area just next to the paddling spot.
Wear comfortable clothes, like a T-shirt, shorts or a swimsuit. We recommend that you wear flip-flops or other shoes that can be worn on the paddleboard. In spring and autumn, it can get a little chilly, so we recommend wearing something warm like a hoodie, or we can lend you a short wetsuit free of charge (just tell us the size you need beforehand).
Not much, sunscreen and a bottle of water will do.
We want to ensure that your paddle-boarding tour is safe, so we’ll go out in all types of weather except heavy rain, strong river current, or wind. If the weather is bad enough that we have to reschedule your tour for another day or time, we will give you a full refund.
Anyone who can swim is welcome to join our stand-up paddleboarding tour, even without any prior experience with SUP. If you feel unsure, we can provide you with a life jacket — just tell us before the tour.
Stand-up paddleboarding is considered an easy sport, as people of all ages and fitness levels can have a go at it.
Yes! Younger children can sit in front of their (experienced) parents’ board where they will enjoy the experience as much as if they were holding the paddle themselves. Children over 12 can join us on their own SUP board.
